High Flyer

A few days ago, I was on a long haul flight for 14 hours. I hate flying. The coldness in the cabin dried my skin out. When my skin is dehydrated, my t-zone gets oilier than ever! (sebum secretion increased on skin surface to prevent further dryness). There are couple of products that I always bring with me when I’m travelling.

1) Makeup Remover Wipes ( for sensitive skin) I use Olay gentle cleansers wet cleansing wipes or Comodynes. They are very handy when I’m travelling, they remove all my makeup and impurities on my skin. It is so mild that I can even use it around my eye area without any stinging sensation. It doesn’t leave any oily residue behind.

2) After I clean my face, I use 3-5 drops of dermalogica hydrating booster all over my face. It absorbs very quickly and my skin doesn’t feel sticky afterward. (Sorry I don't have a picture here)

3) I then seal the moisture of my skin with another dermalogica product called Intensive moisture balance. It is designed for drier skin, but this moisturiser replenishes my skin without any oiliness. Plus, I once suffered from a very bad allergy after a facial, my skin felt raw, dry and flaky. I’ve tried a lot of cream, but only this product resolved my skin problem over night. I always return to use this product when my skin condition isn’t great.

4) Blistex Internsive Moisturiser - My favourite lip cream/balm for the last ten years. It softens my chapped lips with a hint of menthol. Unlike other lip stick or lip balm, it doesn’t feel greasy.
